In light of John Mayer’s recent stand-up comedy fiasco, after which he was dubbed an “accidental racist,” it’s no wonder that Jennifer Aniston is hoping that her next boyfriend will act his age, not, say, the number of words he can fit into a Twitter post.

An insider tells People magazine that the actress, 40, “will never date an immature boy again.”

In other words, she’s finally on board with the multitudes who thought her erratic romance with the self-described undersexed crooner was a really horrible
idea.

“She’s ready for an older, responsible man,” declares the source, who says that Jen has already waded back into the dating pool.

Rihanna’s being linked to someone new. The New York Daily News claims the singer is getting to know actor Tristan Wilds, late of “90210″ but best known for his riveting portrayal of Michael Lee on “The Wire.”

According to the paper, RiRi, 21, cozied up to Wilds, 20, during a small gathering at her Los Angeles digs over the weekend before jetting to London to perform in support of her forthcoming album, “Rated R.”

“No one knew why Tristan was there initially, because it was not an industry party — it was very intimate,” alleges a guest. “But everyone quickly realized they weren’t meeting for the first time, because they were openly affectionate for everyone to see.”

Adds the source, “He’s a real gentleman. She likes him a lot, and it shows. From the moment he walked into her party, Rihanna lit up.”

Paris Hilton was spotted for the first time since tabloid reports surfaced claiming the socialite and her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt got into a physical argument on Halloween.

“It’s people making up silly stories,” she tells the photogs as she and Doug headed into BOA in Hollywood on Monday night.

On Monday, Paris’ rep gave ET this exclusive statement saying, “Doug had thrown Paris’ phone to a friend inside the car and it went out of the window by accident. Paris was annoyed with Doug because she was afraid that the paparazzi would get her phone. There was never a choking incident. The photographs show Doug asking Paris not to go back outside and to calm down.”

Jon Gosselin’s first reaction to his girlfriend Hailey Glassman’s tearful declaration that life after dating him has been difficult and painful…..

Ivanka Trump just got married. Meanwhile the father of the bride, Donald Trump, gave his blessing and said of the marriage, “It’s going to be great,” and when asked if the two were a match made in heaven, he replied, “I think it is.”

Ivanka’s mother Ivana, a family friend Nikki Haskell and other family members also attended the reception. Ivanka said “I do” at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey on Sunday. The bride walked down the aisle in a custom Vera Wang gown as more than 500 guests looked on, including Regis Philbin and Barbara Walters.
