Jon Gosselin’s first reaction to his girlfriend Hailey Glassman’s tearful declaration that life after dating him has been difficult and painful…..

I am grateful for her emotional support and I regret any pain that my actions have caused her as she has selflessly born the pressures I have endured under the media glare. I am committed to making things right with Hailey as well as Kate and especially my children. I ask you to please give me the opportunity to prove myself.”

Jon’s comment comes after an emotional Hailey told “The Insider” about her headline-grabbing relationship with the dad of eight — including her struggles in the spotlight, being called a “homewrecker” for dating Jon after his split with his estranged wife Kate.

Rihanna has probably been getting some bad advice — singleton Jennifer Aniston has reportedly been giving her tips on men!

The Umbrella singer has apparently grown close to Brad Pitt’s ex-wife following Rihanna’s assault by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who was given five years probation for the attack.

“Jen has her fair share of imperfect relationships but not one of those men was ever disrespectful to her physically,” said Aniston’s movie producer pal Ray Manzella.

“No one would dare lay a hand on her because they know they just couldn’t get away with it.

“Hopefully that will rub off on Rihanna. She needs someone who can set the example that no woman should be treated with anything less than respect. I think Jen’s the one to do that.”

Aniston, 40, recently revealed that she’s the “go-to girl” when her pals are in need.

“My friends come to me in tough times for advice,” she said. “I am the go-to girl a lot but I love that. I love helping friends.

“I’ve been the recipient of great information and advice and a giver of it but when you are in need I think you have got to show up — whether it’s to celebrate or to console or whatever. I think it’s about consistency, loyalty and honesty.”

Brad supposedly met Aniston in a hotel for a secret rendezvous in New York. He talked to her for nearly an hour, whining about Jolie.

According to the Hollywood Dame:
“She arrived at his hotel (Essex House) a matter of hours after they had spoken. Brad was unloading his emotional baggage on Jen, which isn’t exactly fair considering their history. But, the source added: “She was quick to tell him she wanted no part in his break-up with Angelina.”

“At first she was reported to be reluctant to meet with her former husband. But the magazine alleges Brad got his mother Jane – who is famously still close to Jen – to persuade her to meet with him and give some advice. She was brutally honest with Brad, telling him he was being selfish and had to figure things out on his own. He mentioned that Angelina is keen to work out their problems, but as far as Brad’s concerned it’s all but over.”

Jon Gosselin is a concerned father - or so it appears in an exclusive interview for ET.

“I’m doing this to protect my kids because my kids have asked sometimes that they don’t want to be filmed,” Jon tells Mary Hart of ET. “My kids need to come off the show.”

His estranged wife Kate, in her own statement to ET, says her main priority is the children’s well-being. But Jon begs to differ.

“She says, ‘It’s financially rewarding. Blah-blah-blah.’ I’m like, ‘It doesn’t matter.’” He continues: “At what price is it going to be for your kids? I mean, are you going to sacrifice their childhood for a couple bucks?”

Mom-of-two Jennifer Garner was pregnant and dealing with bouts of morning sickness while she was filming her new movie, The Invention of Lying - though nobody knew it at the time.

The film’s director Matthew Robinson tells the New York Post that the movie star mom did a good job of keeping the baby news a secret on the set, saying, “We didn’t notice because she came out every morning smiling. We only found out when it was announced in the press.”

Jennifer and her husband Ben Affleck are parents to girls Violet, 3, and Seraphina, 9 months.
