Team Jacob anyone? Mmm… Taylor Lautner showed off his solid abs in the July 2010 issue of GQ Magazine. This 18-year-old is shown on the cover of GQ sporting an A/X Armani Exchange tee.
The werewolf stud, sits down with GQ senior editor, Michey Rapkin and dishes about his recent role in New Moon. “I’m in the gym, and I’m doing reps, and I’m reading the books, and I’m studying the character. I’m just saying to myself, ‘I want this role. I love this role. I’m not gonna lose it. And I’m gonna know it better than anybody, and I’m gonna do that extra rep, because I’m gonna be Jacob Black.’”
Well those extra reps have paid off Lautner, even your costar Robert Pattinson feels inadequate when compared to you… “There are a couple of scenes where he has confrontational scenes where I was supposed to push him around a little bit. It wasn’t in the script, but I thought, ‘I will scare him and grab his shoulder and freak him out and turn the whole scene upside down.’ So I turned around and grabbed his shoulder — and his shoulder was too big for me to get a grip on, so that was kind of embarrassing.”
The July issue hits newsstands Tuesday, June 22nd. If you want to read his full interview visit GQ.com.
While Rihanna is in high demand, and her career is mostly chaotic, her boyfriend, Matt Kemp, brings peace and tranquility to the 22-year-old singer. “I’m so happy. I feel really comfortable, and it’s so easy,” Rihanna says of her relationship with the LA Dodgers outfielder.
In July’s issue of Elle magazine, Rihanna explains she enjoys having someone to relax with, saying “I have such a chaotic life, but at the end of the day, that is just my peace. It keeps me sane, really, talking to him and talking to my family.”
It was a little over a year ago that Rihanna and ex-beau, Chris Brown, broke up after he assaulted her. “A year ago, I was very confused,” the ‘Rehab’ singer admitted, “Because he was my best friend. All of a sudden, one night changed our whole lives - not only our friendship, but our lives.”
Although she doesn’t regret moving on with Kemp, “I wanted to wake up one day and just not have that pain anymore. I wanted to be with him again or get over him… it was either or. I just didn’t want to feel the pain, the confusion.” It’s nice to see Rihanna is in a solid relationship with her new man, meanwhile Chris Brown is being denied international visas.
Claudia Schiffer posed nude on the cover of German Vogue with her big ol’ baby bump. Schiffer is due next month with her third child and clearly embraces her pregnancy. Honestly, this isn’t necessary as the only people who should see Claudia like this are herself and her husband. Demi Moore made the same statement back in 1991 on the cover of Vanity Fair, and it really didn’t work back then either. Whatever, here’s a naked picture of Claudia Schiffer.
Are you kidding me? This has got to be a typo…”I Kissed a Girl” singer Katy Perry is Maxim’s Number 1 Hottie. She has been voted as the world’s sexiest woman…Seriously? Maxim’s editor in chief, Joe Levy explained why Katy placed first, “It’s that feeling you get when you suddenly realize that the smartest, funniest, coolest girl you know also happens to be the best looking and a pretty good skateboarder too.” Okay, well I am glad she is a pretty good skateboarder, but last time I checked this was the list of Maxim’s Hottest, not Maxim’s Tomboy.
Sports Illustrated cover model Brooklyn Decker, placed second, Avatar actress, Zoe Saldana was voted third, followed by “Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively. Megan Fox made the list at number 5.
This is unbelievable! She beat out Blake Lively, Brooklyn Decker and Megan Fox? WHAT! Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce, and Halle Berry were just a few of the celebrities missing from the list all together. What do you think? Who do you think should have topped the list?
Iron Man starlet, Scarlett Johansson looks flawless in a strawberry-print Yves Saint Laurent shirt on the cover of V’s magazine “Summer Scorcher” issue, which hits stands May 11.
Looking good Scarlett! This 25-year-old actress plays Black Widow in the upcoming summer blockbuster Iron Man 2, in theaters today. She opened up to the mag about her career and the character in which she portrays.
“This is a no-bulls–t character,” explains Scarlett. “It’s not that she’s non-feeling, she just gets the job done. She’s part of something bigger, and she knows it. She’s this crazy badass, and she has no time for f–king around.”
She adds, “I’m 25, and for some time I’ve played these characters who are kind of figuring it out, transforming from young girls to young women… I don’t feel like a girl anymore And I feel like my life and career are on a different path than they had been. There’s a lot of road behind me. I feel at this point I really want to do work that is challenging to me. Not to say that I don’t look at my job and realize that I’m ridiculously fortunate, and purely an actor for hire. You never forget that it’s all so vulnerable.”
