Über-producer Rodney Jerkins says he’d like the two young ladies to hit the recording studio together.
“I can pair them up,” says Jerkins, whose most recent collaboration was on Gaga’s “Telephone” featuring Beyoncé. “I would love it. I would love to see what could happen.”

With or without the “Poker Face” hitmaker, Jerkins seriously believes that Lohan can be the next big thing in pop music…

“If she stays focused, I think she has what it takes,” Jerkins told reporters this weekend at the Clive Davis/Recording Academy pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. “I’ve talked to her, and I said, ‘You’ve got what it takes. I really believe in you.’ ”

“I’ve seen a lot of people questioning actresses who have wanted to become pop stars, and they don’t have it,” Jerkins said. “I believe she has it, something deep down. I’ve listened to her in the past, and I think there’s something there. It just needs to be pulled out.”

Lohan posted several messages on her Twitter handle regarding the new year, with one tweet reading:

“To answer everybody’s question … My New Year’s resolution is to stop letting the lucky few that have my heart, try to constantly tear me down.”

She continued with another post that read: “2010 is about moving forward, not backwards. Leaving the bad (people, habits, and negative energy behind) time to make changes-right!?!? :)”

According to her Twitter, Lohan spent her New Year’s Eve in St. Barts. She wrote on Dec. 31st, “Wishing everyone a blessed new year in 2010! Everyone get ready for more (but positive-LOHAN MAYHEM!!!!!!!!) Thanks for all of your support!”

Recently Lindsay Lohan was spotted kissing Jessica Alba’s husband, Cash Warren, but the troubled actress strongly denies the rumor. At the same time it seems that Lindsay is envious over Alba’s friendship with her lesbian ex, DJ Samantha Ronson, The National Enquirer reports.

It appears that 23 years old Lindsay has some information saying that 28 years old Jessica Alba spent a night partying with Sam at Hollywood hotspot Teddy’s.

“I think Lindsay has the crazy idea that Jessica has the hots for Sam — even though she and Cash are happily married! So now Lindsay is retaliating by coming on to Cash. I’m sure Lindsay knew Jessica would find out she and Cash hung out. So she made a point of throwing herself at him and flirting like crazy. Lindsay has also been pestering Cash about working on a film or TV project together, with her starring and him producing”, one source revealed.

Gerard Butler has romanced many of Hollywood’s leading ladies — and that makes his latest rumored escapade far below his usual standards.

The hunky actor reportedly got cozy with none other than Lindsay Lohan on Sunday night at Sol Kerzner Mazagan Beach Resort launch in El Jadida, Morocco. A source told the U.K.’s Daily Mail that the two locked lips on the dance floor at the fete, then left together during the early hours of Monday morning.

Witnesses to the alleged tryst included Naomi Campbell, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber, who were among the hordes of celebrities who flocked to the opening. Also on hand: Guy Ritchie, who was photographed with Butler as he enjoyed being Madonna-free with an unidentified blond.

Lindsay Lohan took to her Twitter early Thursday morning to call girlfriend Samantha Ronson out on her “supposed” bullshit!

“Can you make an attempt to not ruin anything positive that I have FINALLY deserved just to cry myself to sleep with your cheats, errors, and thank you… for being a friend before a sell-out,” she wrote.

Uhhhh, what the hell is she talking about?!

She continued, “The term “self out” was coined from ME and I gave them sooooooo much insight. For their not only COMPLETE, BUT SUBSTANISAN ***FRIENDS***********”

She ended her Twitter rampage with these words to Samantha, “BUT YOU DID perform to her..you JUST told me that your friends are worth more than i am 2 your family & that i’m gross*thx.”

Samantha had no response to Lindsay’s meltdown! Or maybe she addressed her crazy antics over a phone call like most normal and sane people would do.
