OMG…Oh My Gaga!

Pop-icon, Lady Gaga surprised fans at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago over the weekend, when she dove into the crowd wearing no more than a fish-net body stocking.  Barf!

Gaga, 24, wearing a torn fish-net top with star pasties and torn fish-net stockings over nude-colored grannie panties took over the mic and said, “I didn’t used to be brave. In fact I wasn’t very brave at all. But you have made me brave, little monsters. So now I’m going to be brave for you.” She then dove head-first into the crowd. One lucky fan can even be seen licking her stomach.  Lady Gaga was definitely one of the headline acts at the festival!

Though the eccentric star, Lady Gaga, sets herself apart in many ways with off-the-cuff interviews and her imaginative fashion sense, today pop queen has set herself apart for her talent. The “Paparazzi” performer has clenched a record-setting 13 nominations for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.

Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” is nominated for “Best Pop Video,” “Best Female Video,” and “Best Dance Video.” The baker’s dozen of nominations also set two records for the VMAs: Gaga is the first female artist to have two videos nominated for “Video of the Year” for both “Bad Romance” and “Telephone” featuring hip-hop queen, Beyonce, in addition to her most nominations record.

A list of all Lady Gaga’s nominations include; “Best Collaboration” for “Telephone” with Beyonce, “Best Female Video” for “Bad Romance,” “Best Pop Video” for “Bad Romance,” “Best Dance Music Video” for “Bad Romance,” “Video of the Year” for “Bad Romance” and “Telephone,” “Best Art Direction” for “Bad Romance” and “Video Phone” extended remix, “Best Choreography” for “Bad Romance” and “Telephone,” “Best Cinematography” for “Bad Romance,” “Best Direction” for “Bad Romance,” “Best Editing” for “Bad Romance,” “Best Special Effects” for “Bad Romance.” How many moonwalking astronaut statues will the record breaker take home?

And she cares because? The outspoken hip-hop diva, M.I.A., will rap or speak her mind whether in her music or an interview, she can be pretty raw. Anyway, in her latest interview with Time Out London, the British native has words for both talk show queen, Oprah Winfrey, and Lady Gaga.

In the interview, M.I.A. claims that Oprah, wasn’t exactly the warm and fuzzy TV persona she was expecting, when the two met at the Metropolitan Ball at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art in May. M.I.A. explained, “She was with Iman Bowie. Iman was always dancing with me, hugging and kissing me, but Oprah seemed really ****** off with me.”

It got better when Oprah, who co-chaired the event, took the stage and began to gush over Lady Gaga, who grew up in a privileged family. “She made this huge speech at the ball praising Lady Gaga and about how she is helping Americans to be the best of themselves,” M.I.A. explained, “There’s millions of other Americans who represent that for me. Is it about numbers? About how much you’re selling? Is it truly about the journey,” she asked. “Because Lady Gaga’s journey isn’t that difficult to go from the ******* Upper East Side to a ******* performing arts school and on to a stage at the museum of ******* whatever. That journey’s about four miles.” Haha. M.I.A. definitely has a point and I think I love her.

You all remember Greyson Michael Chance, the sixth grader at Cheyenne Middle School, who performed his own rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” and became an internet sensation overnight…

Justin Bieber Jr. met Lady Gaga back stage and sat front row with his friends.  “Greyson bought his tickets back in December and didn’t think this would happen. Tonight he’ll be in the front row watching Lady Gaga,” said Lisa Chance, Greyson’s mother. “I’m so excited and I can’t wait to see her tonight. I’ve been counting down to this day,” Greyson said. “I don’t know what I’m going to say, I’m just going to meet her and be happy and freak out when I see her.”

The 12-year-old met his idol back stage; the lady whose song got him several million fans.  He tweeted: “I met @LadyGaga! She was so kind, gave me some great advice and put on an amazing show!” Grayson also tweeted this photo.

According to recent reports, Lady Gaga was planning to launch an “unusual” signature new perfume.  Her fashion sense is one thing…but perfume…really? “I know nothing of this project,” Senior Vice President of Global Marketing for the firm’s Coty Beauty division Steve Mormoris told WWD. “It is a totally false rumor.”

Apparently a rumor spread worldwide that Lady Gaga signed on with Coty Inc. to create a one of a kind scent.

Phewf! I couldn’t even  imagine what scent she would fix up.  Sick! A close source said, “Anything can happen down the road.”  Guess we have to wait a little longer…
