So many changes in such little time!  Rumors surfaced yesterday that comedian Ellen DeGeneres would be leaving TV’s most-watched series, American Idol after one season on the judging panel…Unfortunately,  Fox has just made it official.  “This didn’t feel like the right fit for me,” DeGeneres wrote in a statement on her official website. “It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for.”

With Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres departing American Idol, and Kara DioGuardi being axed from the show…is Randy the only one left? Hah! Pathetic!  The show will supposedly be going back to a three-judge format, if all goes according to plan.

According to recent reports the new American Idol judges will consist of Randy Jackson, pop star Jennifer Lopez, and Aerosmith front man, Steven Tyler.  Why Fox thinks Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler would make a great fit…no one will ever know!

Ugh Oh! Looks like J-Lo is busted!  Pop star Jennifer Lopez is being sued by a luxury hotel in northern Cyprus for $40 million after she canceled a performance for “political reasons.”

According to reports, J-Lo had been scheduled to perform in Turkish-occupied Northern Cyprus on July 24, her 41st birthday, and the day that marked the anniversary of the island’s 1974 invasion by Turkey.  Lopez was recently criticized after Greek Cypriots turned to the web to say that her appearance would make a political statement.   A facebook site against the concert gained almost 20,000 members within a week.  North Cyprus has been named a pariah state since it was last occupied by the Turkish army illegally in 1974. It is not even recognized by the United Nations.

“Jennifer Lopez would never knowingly support any state, country, institution or regime that was associated with any form of human rights abuse,” says a statement posted Thursday on her website.

The hotel and casino’s rep stated: “The contract has not been terminated. If she does not show up for the concert, we will begin a procedure in the courts to claim 35-40 million dollars in damages. The cancellation….is not covered by any clause in the contract she signed with us.”

Looks as if they are still giving her chance.  Hmm..what do you think will happen?  Thoughts?

In an endearing interview with US Weekly, Marc Anthony gushed about his wife of six years, Jennifer Lopez, and their twins calling them his “inspirations.” Marc has a new album, Iconos, and he says Jennifer helped pick “every one”  of the songs on his latest work of art. Anthony described Jennifer, “She’s always my muse. I look for her reactions.”

And just like Mommy, their daughter “Emme picked a couple of songs… she’d say ‘Again! Again!’ so I’d hold on to that one. Can’t beat that.” Wow! JLo and Marc are an inspiration to musical millionaires everywhere. No wonder the flashy pair are going to renew their vows just like everyone in Hollywood does now for anniversaries.

However, this isn’t the first vow renewal for the couple, but a source says, “This is a big anniversary. They even have a gift registry.” The celebration is set for June 5 at JLo and Marc’s new home in Hidden Hills, CA. Marc joked, “We realized the bets in Vegas [on whether we'd make it] stopped at five years, so we’re really looking forward to this on.”

When Jennifer Lopez first showed her longtime makeup artist Scott Barnes her sexy catsuit the day of her appearance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, she asked him, “Do you think it’s too much?”

But, there wasn’t much doubt she’d be wearing the daring look, designed by stylist Paula Bradley. “She said, ‘It looks cool, right?’ She was so excited. She said ‘I like it!’” Barnes explains,“She was having such a good time and it really showed. She has confidence about her body. She’s not hiding behind any insecurities.”

And Barnes marvels at her incredible shape, considering she is the mother of twins! “She is 40 and she’s had two kids,” he says. “Her body looks better than ever. It was so hot!” Husband Marc Anthony also approved, according to Barnes. The catsuit however, wasn’t quite as naked as it appeared on TV. “It was nude with black mesh over it,” says Barnes. “She wasn’t that cold. It was like having a ski suit on underneath.”

A Los Angeles judge has shut down Jennifer Lopez’s publicity-hungry first hubby from releasing a so-called mockumentary featuring depictions of the ex-couple’s short-lived love life and an exposé of her allegedly cheating ways.

Ojani Noa, who has been trying to milk his role as J.Lo husband No. 1 ever since their marriage crapped out more than a decade ago, has been pitching How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J.Lo and Ojani Noa Story for a couple of weeks. Lopez filed a $10 million lawsuit on Friday and requested an injunction preventing the release of any footage featuring her.

Today, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James C. Chalfant agreed to keep the movie on lockdown until a further hearing Tuesday on whether to make the injunction permanent.
