Right when you think she’s been rid of, Rosie O’Donnell comes creeping through the cracks back into society. The former host of The View is set to return to daytime television with a new job from the media queen, Oprah Winfrey.

Winfrey and O’Donnell made an announcement yesterday that the overbearing “comedian” will be hosting her very OWN daytime talk show for the The Oprah Winfrey Network coming in 2011. Super, maybe Obama can make some more “history” and appear on her show too. Surely, his BFF Oprah can make a phone call. Blah.

Anyway, Oprah says of the overweight pity party, “Rosie is an undeniable talent who has captivated TV audiences for nearly 20 years.” Oprah herself will be stepping away from daytime TV after 25 seasons in September 20011. Oprah adds, “She’s a true original, who brings her authentic voice, dynamic energy and pure passion to everything she does.”

It has become clear Oprah has absolutely lost her mind. Rosie O’Donnell had a daytime talk show years ago that got canned because people think she’s annoying. Then she was on The View and people never watched stopped watching that as well because she’s annoying. Now, Oprah is throwing in the towel because her daytime career has been Trumped and her name is Ellen Degeneres. Honestly, they need to face the facts and realize they are dead to daytime… and maybe everything else.

Honestly, Ali couldn’t have made a bad choice, whether she picked Chris Lambton, the Massachusetts native, who quit his job to take care of his ailing mother who has since passed away, or Roberto Martinez, the Florida native who we soon find out is more than just eye candy .

On Monday’s Bachelorette finale Ali confesses to Chris that she is in love with Roberto, before their final date. “I’m in love with somebody else,” she ended up telling Chris. “I have to let you go here and not wait until tomorrow.”

‘The Bachelorette’ star, Ali Fedotowski followed her heart, and gave her final rose to baseball player Roberto Martinez Monday night.  He was the one who won the first impression rose with his charming dimples, and now he has won the key to Ali’s heart, as her new fiancée.

“I walked out of the limousine that first night… and you giving me the first impression rose, that was amazing,” Roberto said as he met with Ali, ring in his pocket. “I want to be that man for you. I want to make you laugh. I want to make you smile.”  The 26-year-old insurance agent then got down on one knee to propose to Ali in Bora Bora, Tahiti.  “I love you, I want to grow old with you, I want to have a beautiful, beautiful family [with you], I want to share my life with you. Share your life with me. Be my wife,” Roberto replied as he got down on one knee. “Ali, Fedotowsky — will you marry me?”

Ali happily accepted the proposal and now has a new addition to her ring finger, a 3.03-carat Neil Lane rock.  “Fairy tales to me were always something you read in stories and saw in movies. Gosh, I never thought I’d live one,” Ali told viewers after her proposal was shown.

Congrats to the happy couple! The two will be living together in San Diego in hopes of planning a wedding next summer!  So the question is…how long do you think these two will last?

Though the eccentric star, Lady Gaga, sets herself apart in many ways with off-the-cuff interviews and her imaginative fashion sense, today pop queen has set herself apart for her talent. The “Paparazzi” performer has clenched a record-setting 13 nominations for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.

Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” is nominated for “Best Pop Video,” “Best Female Video,” and “Best Dance Video.” The baker’s dozen of nominations also set two records for the VMAs: Gaga is the first female artist to have two videos nominated for “Video of the Year” for both “Bad Romance” and “Telephone” featuring hip-hop queen, Beyonce, in addition to her most nominations record.

In the past year, her personal life may have not hit the lottery, but Sandra Bullock’s income was the winning ticket. In Forbes recent ranking of the highest-paid actress, Sandra Bullock crushed her competition earning a reported $56 million between June 2009 and June 2010.

Bullock even took a pay cut to play the Oscar winning role in The Blind Side, however her share generously paid off after the film earned $310 million in box office sales … a very profitable return for a $30 million budget project.

The top earning actress nearly doubled the income of the following two on the list, Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz both earning $32 million. Although the road has been rocky for Bullock for a few months, it has been the most successful year of Bullock’s entire career. And it’s not even just the money, because she won an Oscar for her leading role which is the most prestigious honor for an actress. But the money can’t hurt, and her new adopted boy, Louie, is certainly one lucky little baby.

There was some sort of incident in the wrong place at the wrong time, that we can only hope will make it to season three of Jersey Shore. Nicole Polizzi aka Snooki was arrested for disorderly conduct by the shore and now has a set court date.

The Seaside Heights Court Administrator Jane Carozza reported Snooki has a first-appearance court date scheduled for the morning of August 18. It is not mandatory Snooki is present as long as her attorney is there on her behalf. However, Snooki has yet to hire an attorney to appear for her.

Though Snooki does have a few options of where her behavior could take her, according to Carozza. Snooki can plead not guilty and later go to trial, but she’s not up for jail time; just a fine between $250 and $1000. Otherwise, Snooki can get a lawyer, plead guilty to the charge and the case can be done before her set court date. Stay tuned!
