The Daily Stew wanted to wish you a safe and happy Cinco De Mayo!  According to reports, Cinco De Mayo makes the top ten for the most drunken holidays.

Today we help celebrate the anniversary of an 1862 battle between an under-armed, Mexican army against a well-armed French Army which was led by Napoleon III.  Can you guess who won?  Ding…ding, ding, ding! The under-armed Mexican army won, hence the celebration.

So grab a beer, a shot of tequila and your sombrero and get ready to party.

Jennifer Aniston reportedly flew several famous friends, including Gerard Butler, her hunky co-star in ‘The Bounty Hunter,’ to Los Cabos, Mexico to celebrate her upcoming birthday.

Aniston, who turns 41 on Feb. 11, retreated to a Los Cabos resort on Thursday night with pals including Butler, Courteney Cox, her husband David Arquette, and Sheryl Crow (who also celebrates a Feb. 11 b-day). Apparently the A-list group is staying in a waterfront villa.

After spending a good portion of his Christmas Day in an Aspen jail on domestic violence charges, Charlie Sheen is no longer behind bars.

According to the Pitken County Sheriff’s Office, just before 7 p.m. local time Judge James Boyd informed Sheen that he would be released from jail and must return to Aspen on February 8, 2010 to face the judge in court. Sheen posted an $8,500 bond.

At approximately 8:30 in the morning, officers responded to a 911 call at 320 West Hallam Street and arrested the “Two and a Half Men” star for second degree assault, a class four felony; menacing, a class five felony; and criminal mischief, a class one misdemeanor. All charges are coupled with a domestic violence component. Sheen is married to Brooke Mueller.

Wow, I guess she seriously is over the split… or maybe she’s just putting up a really good front?

The mother of two looked in high spirits as she grabs coffee with a pal, and then stops by her office before going shopping. Reese Witherspoon has always been one of my favorite Hollywood actresses. Maybe she’s just acting here?

You’d think that she would be pretty upset about breaking up with someone right before the holidays!

Kate Beckinsale her gorgeous hubby Len Wiseman, their daughter and a friend went ice skating in Santa Monica recently.

Her holiday film with Robert De Niro and Drew Barrymore Everybody’s Fine is out in theatres December 4.
