Victoria Beckham dabbled in a taste of India as she tried on exquisite bridal wear for Vogue India’s ‘bridal’ November issue. The English pop star will grace the cover of the magazine as well.

Posh Spice also gave an interview to the magazine (quite rare for her you know), and chatted about her fashion, style and life with soccer icon husband David Beckham and their three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

“I feel like an Indian princess!” she exclaimed, as she slipped into the sari. ”You know, as a designer, I love the detailing in these clothes. It’s so me - this is real craftsmanship.”

Posh added: “I’ve never worn anything like it. The talent that goes into making these clothes is phenomenal.”

VP Candidate Sarah Palin’s wardrobe has entered the fray of symbolic political excess, along with John McCain’s too many houses and John Edwards’s $400 haircut.

Republicans now express fear that weeks of putting forward an image of Palin as an average “hockey mom” is about to go down amid revelations that the Republican Party showered her with expensive clothing and designer accessories bought from high-end stores.

Advisers of the Republican Party said on Wednesday that the purchases — which came to a sum total of about $150,000 — were made only after the in-the-limelight governor of Alaska was chosen as the Republican VP candidate on August 29.

Apparently she needed new clothes to suit different climatic conditions in the fifty states. They also made a point to emphasize that she did not spend time on the shopping, and that other people made the decision to buy such an array of clothes. Yeah, sure!

Anne ‘hath a way’ to do it in style, indeed! Promoting her hit comedy flick Get Smart and having to deal with the break-up (allright, she did the dumping, but it still hurts) at the same time would have been excruciatingly tough for her. Her class shone through in this difficult time.

The Princess of Genovia has finally transformed. Her demeanor was far from the end-of-the-world reaction exhibited by most celebs in her position.  Not only did she put out some elegant dresses to burn her ex, she also managed a lovely new hairstyle.

The grapevine has also suggested that her appearance with her Get Smart co-actor, the recently-divorced Rock (and that too when she’s showing more than a lot of leg) is sure to hit her ex right where it hurts the most.

Even the photog in the background seems to be wondering what possessed Charlize to walk out of the house dressed like that! Honestly, half her dress seems to be missing. Is she an Oscar winner? For what, ‘Worst Dress Sense’? Oh no wonder, the movie was titled Monster, after all.

Update:

The Oscar winner has to shed two stone to play a cancer patient opposite Keanu Reeves in their movie Sweet November, but the experience wasn’t one she liked too much. She said it made her feel ‘unsexy’. The word on the street is that Charlize is looking to have babies with beau Stuart Townsend.
