Showing off her athletic prowess, Teri Hatcher competed in the events making up the Malibu Triathlon this morning (September 13).
The “Desperate Housewives” beauty was cheered on by daughter, Emerson, as she biked, swam and ran her way around the course.
Previously talking about what the training involved to compete in such an event, Hatcher revealed that running was the most difficult task.
Of the four-mile sprint to the finish line, Teri says, “It’s the least fun for me. By that point, I’m really tired, so the whole time I’m thinking, ‘I’m not going to make it.’”
Talking about deciding to enter the annual competition, Hatcher adds, “I’m just out to do it and I did it. I did surprise myself that I’m in better shape than I thought I was.”

Eva Longoria Parker is set to return as host and gala chair for the 9th annual PADRES’ Contra El Cáncer fundraising gala.
The “Desperate Housewives” actress, who also serves as the national spokesperson for PADRES, will return Thursday September 10 at the Hollywood Palladium, along with master of ceremonies George Lopez.
Honorees include celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves, cosmetic company L’Oreal Paris, and the California Correctional Peace Officers Association for their efforts to improve the quality of lives of children and families battling cancer.

According to The Sun’s “Best Sex Ever” survey of “A-List celebs,” the answer for Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is to be tied up with silk scarves during love making.
Eva, 34, said: “I’m not averse to being tied up with silk scarves, I like a man to take charge. There’s something very sexy about being submissive.”
The same survey reported that Kirsten Dunst once enjoyed getting it on in a store changing room with then-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal. Other known celeb festishes include a foot-fancying Quentin Tarantino and a cross-dressing Nick Lachey.

Teri Hatcher is one heck of a celebrity spokeswoman after all.
So says skin-care maker Hydroderm, which had been suing the Desperate Housewives star for breach of contract for allegedly singing the praises of a rival company’s lip-plumping product after agreeing to exclusively stump for them.
But no more. In a statement issued Friday, Hydroderm spokesman Joshua McCleary called Hatcher a “woman of the highest integrity.”
“We sincerely apologize for the adverse publicity resulting from our lawsuit…Hydroderm LLC has specifically retracted all accusations made against Teri Hatcher including that she endorsed any competing products,” they added.

Gale Harold, who plays Teri Hatcher’s (Susan Mayer’s) new love interest on “Desperate Housewives,” was seriously injured yesterday in a motorcycle accident.
A rep of the actor said, “We can confirm that Gale Harold was in a motorcycle accident yesterday, Oct 14. He has fractured his shoulder and is under observation to assess any possible further injuries. Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery. No one else was injured in the accident.”
Harold is in the neurosurgical intensive care unit at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, in “stable condition.”
CelebGossipNet wishes Gale a speedy recovery.
