Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is at least two weeks overdue now, and during a taping of The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, big sister Jessica Simpson revealed that Ashlee’s actually considering having labor induced.

“They’re going to have to induce labor,” she said. “It’s already developing really quick.”

Jessica also revealed that Ashlee’s been trying all sorts of ways to get herself to go into labor. “Different foot massages and stuff,” Jessica said. “I don’t know. I think she’s really just jumping around trying everything right now.”

Britney Spears has had to cancel a planned concert performance with Madonna in Miami. She’s done it so that she can spend the run-up to Thanksgiving with her kids. According to sources, Spears was slated to make a guest appearance on the final show of diva Madonna’s American tour on November 26, but the singer has decided to put her kids before her career.

Britney has been granted custody of her sons, two year old Jayden James and three year old Sean Preston, for the period leading up to their US holiday which falls on the 27th of November.

Angelina Jolie conceded that she and Brad Pitt are pondering over adopting another child, as she appeared on the Today Show on Thursday.

When quizzed on the topic, Jolie said “Yeah. I have something in mind.”

As for how soon it would be before the mother of six adds another to her brood, she said “It depends. You can’t even start the process until any new children are 6 months old…to see what you can absorb into a new family—and I think that’s a smart thing anyway, to understand when to bring another child in.”
