Rihanna has probably been getting some bad advice — singleton Jennifer Aniston has reportedly been giving her tips on men!

The Umbrella singer has apparently grown close to Brad Pitt’s ex-wife following Rihanna’s assault by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who was given five years probation for the attack.

“Jen has her fair share of imperfect relationships but not one of those men was ever disrespectful to her physically,” said Aniston’s movie producer pal Ray Manzella.

“No one would dare lay a hand on her because they know they just couldn’t get away with it.

“Hopefully that will rub off on Rihanna. She needs someone who can set the example that no woman should be treated with anything less than respect. I think Jen’s the one to do that.”

Aniston, 40, recently revealed that she’s the “go-to girl” when her pals are in need.

“My friends come to me in tough times for advice,” she said. “I am the go-to girl a lot but I love that. I love helping friends.

“I’ve been the recipient of great information and advice and a giver of it but when you are in need I think you have got to show up — whether it’s to celebrate or to console or whatever. I think it’s about consistency, loyalty and honesty.”

Our Jen hates seeing pet pooch Norman in pain, and walks away if he ever has a shot.

A source told the National Enquirer magazine: “Whenever a vet technician arrives at her home to slip Norman an injection, Jennifer breaks down and flees the room until the deed is done.”

Jennifer rushes back into the room as soon as Norman’s treatment is over to comfort him.

Norman, a Corgi-Terrier mix, is growing old and suffers from a series of health complaints including arthritis.

To ease his pain, Jennifer splashes out $250 a week on massage, Reiki and acupuncture treatments.

Jennifer had this to say: “It wouldn’t be bad if, when a man comes home, he’d run to his woman with his tail wagging. This sort of excitement is something I’ve always missed in a man to be honest.”

Brad supposedly met Aniston in a hotel for a secret rendezvous in New York. He talked to her for nearly an hour, whining about Jolie.

According to the Hollywood Dame:
“She arrived at his hotel (Essex House) a matter of hours after they had spoken. Brad was unloading his emotional baggage on Jen, which isn’t exactly fair considering their history. But, the source added: “She was quick to tell him she wanted no part in his break-up with Angelina.”

“At first she was reported to be reluctant to meet with her former husband. But the magazine alleges Brad got his mother Jane – who is famously still close to Jen – to persuade her to meet with him and give some advice. She was brutally honest with Brad, telling him he was being selfish and had to figure things out on his own. He mentioned that Angelina is keen to work out their problems, but as far as Brad’s concerned it’s all but over.”

Brad Pitt, his beard and his son Maddox were at JFK yesterday, en route to France to meet up with Angelina and the rest of the Jolie-Pitt clan.

I’m kind of liking Brad’s suit but can’t Angie tell him that greying beard has got to go? You’d think he has enough money to have someone fix it. Maddox seems shy and embarrassed. It’s so sad being a celebrity kid, but at least he has a First Class seat and a big trust fund to comfort him!

Jennifer Aniston recently referred to herself as the poster child for the single girl who’s unlucky in love, but lest we forget, she once was married to Brad Pitt.

Jen’s been a superstar at dealing with Brad’s relationship with Angelina Jolie—her unshaken Oscar speech with Brad and Angie in the front row, telling Oprah that she’s overcome the painful breakup—and now she’s stunning us with even more grace toward her ex.

Indeed, she claims, there are no hard feelings between them. Starpulse reports Jen as saying,
“In contrast to what people say, Brad and I have a very cordial relationship. I admire him a lot for what he is doing to help other people and I think he is an extraordinary actor.”
