Jessica Simpson is bouncing back - and in style.

She revealed more curves in a sequined mini as younger sister Ashlee made her Broadway debut Monday night in Chicago.

Simpson, 29, has endured a rough 2009: she was blasted for her weight, lost her beloved dog Daisy to a coyote and was dumped the day before her 29th birthday by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

The Simpson sisters, Ashlee and Jessica, were out on town — and Jessica got really wasted. You can probably see in the image that it appears as if her sis is carrying her around.

We do realize that she’s having a tough time, but someone please tell her to stop the ‘dumb blonde’ act.

News on the grapevine is that Papa Joe Simpson and his daughter Ashlee Simpson are thinking of recording an album of Michael Jackson covers. Oh, puh-lease!

As the debate rages on, Heidi Klum is speaking out against critics of Jessica Simpson’s new curves. This comes a few days after little sister Ashlee put herself behind Jessica’s rapidly growing behind.

“I think everyone should be the way they feel comfortable,” Klum tells People.com.

The beauty went on to say:
“There are always people who are quick to offer an opinion and when you are in the public eye, people will always talk about you and put their opinions on you. That’s what you get when you’re in the public eye. But people need to be happy with the way they are.”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has a bone to pick with those who say her sister is looking a bit meatier than usual.

“I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight,” Simpson wrote Tuesday on her website. “A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure as a headline on Fox News.”

Sure enough, Fox’s website reported today that Jessica Simpson shocked fans Sunday at Radio 99.9 Kiss Country’s Chili Cookoff in Pembroke Pines, Fla., with her “noticeably fuller figure” and had apparently “eased up on her fitness regimen a bit.”
Hmph, says Ashlee.

“All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard,” the younger Simpson sis continued.

It looks like Ashlee Simpson’s back to being a redhead again. Wow, that was fast. That girl has a hair dye addiction that will not be denied! It does look all shiny, but I barely had time to start enjoying her blond locks before she promptly took them away from me. Oh well.

So, new mom Ash stepped out with her sister Jessica Simpson for a night out at Bar Deluxe in Hollywood. Sorry Tony and Pete. No boys allowed.
